Got the CPO ordered email on 09/16/2010, updated to Post Decision Activity on 09/17/2010 for both primary and derivative.
Got FP appointment scheduled in the first week of Sep, but gave it earlier ( last week of august)
No SR, No Infopass.

I support you L1Fraud.
Guys: This has become a major problem at every place. If we do not take any action, every one of us will be replaced by these BIG outsource companies with L1 and B1.
I already reported this to ICE about violations of CTS which has placed their L1's at client's place for the past 2 years. And still they have several people.
You may not believe their pay. I do not want to put a number here and it will be a shame on CTS for misusing L1. They replaced 18 American Workers at my client's pace. Whatever you guys might think, this is a FRAUD.
As you are a very active IV member and helped with so many campaigns. I would request you to take an additional step towards resolving such issues.
(1) Voilating the law is not right and we must all be against it
(2) If you are concerned about L1 fraud - please make a case by writing a detailed document.
(3) Gather people who think their job is at threat because of FRAUD and form a group
(4) Talk to lawyer and seek opinion
(5) Understand the process and collectively report to appropriate authorities to take action
(6) Talk to your law makers
(7) Run a strong campaign on IV- gather support from other organizations etc..
(8) Keep everything open - like posting everything on forums and nothing to hide.

I just learnt from my lawyer that he submitted my I-485 aplication one day before my medical reports reached him. Basically he filed with out the medical reports. Will USCIS reject my aplication?He is saying it is allowed?

I am not talking about calling cards. ALLVOI is also a VOIP service like Vonage and has the same deal on free US calls etc. However, their India pkg is much better IMO.

Can state chapter leaders please send an email to members to inform about latest scheduling of HR5882 and ask them to call the appropriate congress members.
Not all IV members visit the site regularly and it seems most members are under the impression that HR5882 is post-poned indefinitely. I did receive an alert email two weeks ago when 5882 was being considered first time (and it was helpful - thanks MA chapter) - it would be effective to send another short one now. Thanks.

I have the same situation. CPO change date on 5th, email on 6th. Since then, no LUD, status changes, email, or snail mail.
No need to worry...I got my physical cards yesterday in the mail - about 7 business days after CPO update. You will get the cards soon...

Do you know why we are having GC delays ?
1. Country cap for visa numbers
2. Visa numbers wasted by USCIS by their inefficiency
EB1 visa never belonged to EB2 or EB3 category. What if there were enough genuine EB1 people to claim all the EB1 visas. There won't be any spillovers. Spillovers are bonuses. It is never our right to claim those.
If you want your GC faster, work with IV for country cap removal and recapture.
Have you donated a single dime for IV's cause ?We always find it easy to go against fellow immigrants than fighting the injustice at root.
Look at the following thread to see how easy it is to resolve GC issues if country caps are removed.

I agree with you that the main reason for the GC delay is the two causes you have mentioned. The Country cap is based on the current law (I am not saying the law is good). However along with the main causes for the delay the fraudulent uses of EB1 visa #s are also causing extra delay. Thus along with the effort to remove the main cause of delay we should work on the other cause of delays too.
I am also agreeing that as per the current law the L1A - Senior Level Manager can get their GC processed as EB1 and get GC within six months. I agree that this is the current law.
My main concern is the misuse of this law. People who should not get L1A visa are getting L1A using fraud and taking the EB1 visas which otherwise as per law would have trickled down to EB2.
You may be ok with the fraud being done by many of the L1A visa holders and their sponsors. However I am not and I shall support any steps taken by the IV member "L1Fraud".
You may think that the spillovers are bonuses and it�s ok if we do not get them. I differ with you; I feel if someone using fraudulent methods takes our bonuses away we need to protest against that.
Regarding donating to IV think I am not accountable to you. Please note that this is a forum where everyone can express their views without attacking each other personally.

Thus the GC journey of 9 years and 8 months ends. Currently no difference in life it makes. May be when i travel GC may be of more help. (no AP H1B stuff to worry about)

Height of selfishness....
It is amazing that how these people are ready to spend tons of money and time for such selfish causes.
If this kind of enthusiasm is displayed on IV action items and contributions then there would be better chances of achieving the goals of this community.
People who created this forum, which is helping this community so much, have been working for years.. selflessly.. spending time and money and effort many times spending their own money for the causes of this community.. people like Aman, Pappu, Pascal, logiclife et al... There are lots of people in this community who thought about the community first.
If they were like you.. then things would have been worse.
But, if you are so hell bent on putting your GC first, irrespective of the damage to the cause of the community, if you are so mad about yourself.. why do you care about polling.. Go alone.. just focus on "you and your GC" .. achieve something alone.. You can then keep all the benefits to yourself.. all yours..Go ahead!
Just like your campaign, the fundamentals on which you run it, cannot be trusted.. because if it suits you, you'll sell you supporter's interests for your own GC.
That's why you get support from very few....

I tend to agree with both.
You need strong arguments and they need to have legal basis. Laws cannot be changed by an agency that only follows laws.
If you are eligible for EB2 and cannot file in Eb2 and your employer filed in Eb3, it is not a strong argument. Likewise you cannot change the spillover rule without strong legal justification. You need change of law.
Visa recapture is the best option.
Any big action iteam coming for VISA RECAPTURE FROM IV CORE ?
should't we start aggressive calling campaign for HR 5882 ? like one we did for sub committe hearing.. or may be big event like rally in DC ..
