I was on F1 when the lawyer filed I485 for me along with my husband in 2004.
I know another couple who did the same.
F1 is a non immigrant visa and filing for I485 is not appropriate but at the same time it's not the primary applicant. So i don't know if it is going to be a problem or not ( my PD is not current).

All,
Received CPO mail today for self, wife but then after 30 mins the status changed to 'deceison' .
Does this mean I am greened?

Yes, you are. The decision status happens when your wlecome notice gets mailed out. You will get that either today and within next couple of days. Mine also got changed like that, but only after 6 days.
Interesting part is even after I got my GREEN CARD to my hand, it is still saying the status as DECISION.

I think if you have I-551 stamped on your passport then you do not need any other document. i-551 is as good as physical green-card. You can carry the approval notice with you. This is my opinion, do no quote on me.

The requirement for a transit visa to enter the UK is not a new requirement. They were introduced because a significant number of passengers decided to remain in the UK rather than simply transit.
Before they were introduced, passengers had the ability to remain in the UK for up to 24 hours, enter the UK, change airports etc (this is called TWOV or Transit Without Visa and still remains for applicable nationals).

This may not be a big change. These laws made more sense when they had less or no wait to get into the country for Perm residency and then wait long enough (5 Years) to understand how this country works, before getting a citizenship.
With the change in the cirumstances, it is not case anymore. Most of the people waiting for GC are much better of with the way things work in this country. So we are basically not challenging the law but the interpretation.
More over If CIR can promise a path to citizenship for illegals, I don't know why not this can be done for legals.

If these #s are released, lets say 12K, or whatever:
How will these affect the processing times.
I guess these cases that qualify are all propbably pre-adjucated. In that case will it increase the processing time for PERM, I-140 and 485 stages.

I belive ultimately all the big phone service providers like Reliance, Airtel and Tata will reduce the calling rates to match/beat VOIP providers like Vonage.
This will be the saving grace to keep down the telephone expenses.

my and my wife medical was done in august last year .. will that be valid , i have read somewhere that it is valid till 1 year .. is that true .
Is there any form for Finger printing ..

I would go for medical test again just because of PPD test. According my civil surgeons office, PPD test should be with in 6 month when u file 485 otherwise you may get rfe for fresh ppd. Seems these days CIS is very particular about TB test.

In the old system, if EB1, Eb2 and EB3 ROW are current then "all" unused visa from all the EB category be given to which category first:
a) EB1 Non Row
b) Eb2 Non Row
c) Eb3 Non Row
d) None of the above
Now second part of the question is :
If that category already has enough people in line, will the spillover to the next category will take place:
a) Yes
b) No

I recharged my account 10 days back at aitell 9.99 for 600 mins valid for 45 days. Today not allowing to make call due to insufficient balance. From the call history on their website, I only used 300+ minutes after recharge. I got doubt and looked all my recharges and usage from last 3 months. They are giving less minutes than advertisements on their website. I called to check with them today and customer service number is always busy. Any body using Airtel check your account history.
I had similar issue with them yesterday and also lost minutes, I tried to reach them for at least 90 minutes, finally I am able to get in touch with customer service rep and she confirmed me that they are running into some issues that they said that technical upgrade and confirmed me that after 2 hours I will get my minutes back (After that upgrade)...I have checked and it came back......
so speak with them, I am sure you will get yours back.....good luck
