Due to the pending caseload at NSC, the processing time of your I485 application has been extended. Allow extra time for an officer to review your application. very interesting thread ..it is more interesting than the other famous thread "how to get your maid to USA" ..no wonder some senior core members are disappointed because no one cares about other threads which talk about recapture and other campaigns.
the only point about renting the house is that it has many pitfalls too ...one of my friends tried that and he is a full time businessman ...problem is many people stop paying rent after 4-5 months ...it happened in his case plus the tenant painted the house in red and green colors.. In US it is not very easy to evict the tenant ..you have to go to court etc etc (so it is sort of full time job).
on top of it ..how do you make sure that 3-4 families are not staying in the house ...i.e. u rent it to 1 person and that person reduces his rent by renting it to 2-3 families ,... these few points are the problems that you face by renting
Cant we put all these conditions in the contract? No modification to the house..only one family allowed..unless you want to rent it to bachelors and then charge whatever amount from each person and limit their number in the house..
Contracting agencies do not assure if they will put the house on rent. they say they will find someone.. and how long it takes, they are not sure..

I agree. Other non-useful threads are more active than this.
I am surprised that all other threads are getting updated quite frequently. People are posting question related to their RFE and as usual once they get answer to their problems, they vanish. People are posting jokes on IV, but when it is their turn to call, we've to "bump" this thread and send e-mails to members. So pathetic.
I felt very sad when I read 30000+ members donated some 4000 dollars in last two months. I felt my donation of about 1000 dollars since 2006 is being wasted to answer questions of or to solve the problems of these free riders &/or one question members.

I am applying for AOS on a EB basis. My wife will apply along with me as a beneficiary. Unfortunately she worked on H1B for another company without notifying USCIS and on a different job capacity. What are the chances for her I485 to be denied? Do we have to mention that in I485 form. She is currently on H4 and is not working. Thanks.

When her employer applied for H1B means that he notified USCIS & got approved! She will be fine & she will get her GC along with you. No worries.

The guy has sent you a generic form letter. I dont want to discourage or disppoint you and I thank you for your effort. What you did was good. What I am saying is that he probably didnt read that you are not talking about illegal immigration and borders etc. but the backlogs in the "Legal" variety.

Anyways KUDOS to Everyone participated in this cause.
The message was reched to whoever it needs to ( Media) and USCIS make it easy by posting the same in www.uscis.gov website. This is a big victory for IV and the next step is to have a big rally to carry the message forward. Please vote to join rally in DC for the week end

Congrats ski_dude12. My personal opinion is that this may have delayed your greencard since July. Sometimes people get too anxious once their date is current and want to try everything that is possible to get approval. There is so much information and misinformation on forums.
i would think that you dont need to raise any SR or other action for at least 3-4 weeks from the month your PD is current.
i didnt do anything and the emails came to me by 7th of Sept

Received CPO Email today - Status changed from " received your response on Sept. 15, 2008 ... will notify the decision in 60 days " to CPO.

I don't know what do you mean by success. as far as media coverage is concerned, Fireign media (India, China or elsewhere) doesn't help. It's local media, which can create some usefull awareness. How does awareness in a different country helps?? I don't know why even people talking coverage about foreig media?????

If the post is true and from real world person, then the OP and his sponsor are in violation of the Law. The L1B are not supposed to be based/hosted in client location unless specifically stated in the approved petition. Defiantly not supposed to do in case of blanket L1B.

makes sense now.. EB3 I was 3576 in 2008 due to the spillover rule change. For 2006 and earlier Eb3 and EB2 were roughly the same?

what about spent thousands of dollars on medicals ,on afidavits,called parents in india made them run all around,cancelled vacation,cancelled air tickets , gave fees to attorney,and now cannot even file
