Hi,
I am tracking delays and Legitimate errors caused by USCIS.
IV wants help its members in getting their EADs in time.

I am not sure how effective these new laws are. I recently renewed my Texas DL after expiry...I renewed it online...expecting for them to ask me for visa documents...instead I got the new DL in mail a few days later.
Maybe the databases are connected somehow & they verified my immigration details....but I very much doubt it. Sometimes you wonder why its so easy to be an illegal immigrant in the US.
However I did notice (in a city nearby in the same state - not the one I live in) that when you go in person, they ask for visa details.

This is encouraging. chandu, I read somewhere (mostly on murhty) that CIS will be publishing new AC21 soon and it is expected to be more stricter. Is this just the speculation or any other indications are received?? any idea? I am afraid that what will happen to people who already have used AC21 by following what currently exists???????

This case is pending with AAO from Nov. 2009.
It will take 24 months to get a result.
Meanwhile he is going to start PERM in EB3.
Got RFE before the denial.
Replied with professor letter and premium evaluations ($750).
Still USCIS insist with EDGE database. It is private, no govt backing, but they are going by that findings.
Lawyer is hopeful for the result, he have 6 year college, they questioned about the 3 year degree, but the labor is for masters, He have masters (2 year) and total 4 year combined bachelors(3+1).
They no need to look the bachelors, when the education requirement is masters.
The evaluator give 20 US universities name which gives masters degree after 5 year course (5 year integrated degree).
Agree with what you pointed out but shouldn't the attorney know this?? If this cannot be apealed this individual has lost valuable time and money (attorney looses nothing). I am curious to know what the attorney says about this:mad:

We got our EAD in the mail today - We are late June filers (29th June) and got our receipt numbers last week, - I have some q's-
-Can one get EAD without completing FInger printing? In the finger priniting colum on the EAD it says - not available, Would that matter?
-How does one activate his/her EAD?
-Have any other late june filers already got their EAD?

definitely not the right time to buy ..if your kids are not about to go to school then next fall would be even better.

Hi,
I self e-filed my EAD application and the Receipt date is 6/7/10. They called for Biometrics which is done.
I got an email saying that they have sent a RFE. Waited for 10 days, still no signs of RFE. When I called USCIS, they asked me to wait for 15 days. When I called after 15 days, they created a Service Request to re-mail the RFE. Now they say, I have to wait for 45 days. When I asked them if they will extend my deadline to reply to the RFE, she said she doesn't know.
Has anyone been in this situation ?
What kind of RFE will they send for an EAD extension.
I sent my 485 receipt and a copy of my EAD when I e-filed.
How many days do they usually give to respond to the RFE ?
Any feedback is appreciated.

If I were you, I would rather wait atleast till Nov 2006 before converting I-140case to premium processing because as you said NSC is currently processing I-485 cases for Dec 2005 and it would take 5/6 months more from now to come to June/July 2006 to process I-485 at current pace. But Again this is my personal thought....
Moreover, in order to take advantage of AC21 portability you I-140/I-485 case has to be 6 months old. So getting I-140 approved through premium processing does no good as you would have to wait till Dec 2006 anyway for your I-140/I-485 case to become 6 months old.

RFE was for employers ability to pay .and my friends got same RFE and we has same atorney .employer is financially strong and im sure with good ability to pay .I didnt get notice yet .just got online update .

To all Bachelors
1. you can files your I485 and later add your spouse if the dates are current or you have the priority date.
2.You can apply for EAD during I485 and at the same time can be on H1 unless you don't change an employer using EAD.
3.Unless you add your spouse to I485 process..you have to maintain your H1 status as your spouse will be on H4.
4.BY any chance your I485 is approved before adding your spouse(present in US)..you have 180days to apply for your spouse.
5.If your I485 is approved when your spouse in outsite USA..then you have to go for consular processing.
6. No one exactly knows if the PD will remain same or not.
So anyone about to marry or planning to get married,talk to your attornies about your situation and take a decision.

For 1. I will be having the marriage certificate at the time of filing, which will be in July. That time my spouse will be in India, as she will apply for her H4 and then come (latest by August). What I wanted to know is that if my PD is NOV 2006, doesn't that make me current. I know people are saying that visa numbers may not be availabe in Sep, but if all PD are current till June 2007, and if my wife will get my PD, what difference does it make if she files in Aug or Dec 2007. What will happen in Dec that will not let her file I-485. I am meeting my attorney next week, but with the pathetic interview scheduling system, it would be good to know so I can get an earlier date for her.
For 2. If I do change my employer, using my EAD, and if my spouse is in US, what status will that give her. a. If I file her I-485 and b. If I am unable to file her 485, if the visa numbers run out.

You most likely wont be speaking to clients, thats what Project managers and salesman are for.
how old do you have to be to work for someone? i mean like.. say ur 14.. and ur better than someone thats older than you and u do a really good job?
can u still go for a job and get paid?

I did not feel like signing along for two reasons: we are not US citizen yet, and I consider myself citizen of the world and will always be. I do not aspire to become citizen of the United States of America.
Even when Americans sang their national anthem in a church, I felt not right. Churches are not supposed to be linked to states. There should be no country boundary within the Christian world.
