He doesn't have much credibility even in republicans. he talks filth and spews venom. It is better to be safe than sorry with these talk show hosts.
i do agree with gcsucks that he is pro indian, i have heard him defend migration from india when a caller called him to complain about the H1B program. but he sure is moody, cause if we catch him on the wrong day then the responce can be unpredictable.
once he did a show on why indian kids end up winning spelling bee, and it was an interesting analysis of our culture and our dedication towards education. but his primary concern was that someday it will sure happen that indians will start dominating the american lifestyle and policy.

I similarly applied online on Dec 20th and haven't heard anything at all. I applied online and the documents were sent to the Neb office. Can you please share your details on I765 extension filing?
well, honestly speaking, it wasn't an extension. i am still on h1b, however it expires soon, so, i filed at texas service center, taking the 120 day period as the processing period.
what i mean by not an extension is that, i once applied for 765 when i filed by 485 during july 2007 fiasco, but later, i never bothered to renew it.

what kind of logic / law is here, if you are a US citizen you can marry and bring your spouse, if you are on pending 485 you can bring but if you become LPR you have to wait for 5 years......

3 options
1) file H1 on Apr 1st and if H4 is not approved by then withdraw pending H4
2) file H1 on Apr 1st before the current H4 expires and hope that H4 is approved before H1. H1 should be approved after H4 to have the H1 status. If H4 is approved later, H1 status will be lost
3) Request PP of extension and 99.9% of time 539 is approved along with 129.
I will add more info as I find.

You mean to say CIR will be introduced to the immigration or judiciary senate committee or introduce directly to the senate. If it is introduced directly to the senate floor that will save a lot of time, on the flip side it will become difficult to add or change provisions if it is directly introduced to the senate bypassing the senate judiciary and immigration committee

Recently I spoke a IO at NSC and she specifically told me that the local office does not see if its assigned to an officer or not. All they see is what room it is in. Ironically, the rooms names are like name of a person.
So it may not be with an IO realistically. The infopass information may not be the best answers you get.

Same here. I saw another soft LUD today 6/14 after a LUD yesterday 6/13. Wonder if USCIS works on Sat or it's just some regular database update.

Guys, nothing happens by sulking and it is never easy. Are you so easily giving up the fight for a cause which can impact you in such a positive way? WE HAVE TO KEEP TRYING. As long as there is 1% chance I will keep working to make it 100%. We need to encourage each other and contribute to help IV in its effort and not to be demoralizing for others.

Buddy, what were you doing for 40 days after your got terminated? If you knew it was coming you should have made efforts to transfer H1 or right after. If you transfer H1, then obviously INS will look for pay stubs etc from the last sponsoring co. Since you mentioned you never actually worked for them (if I understand this right) then you are in trouble. You can use EAD but you lose your H1 status. If you want to get back to H1 then you are back in the lottery mess to qualify for one. Obviously you need to decide what is important to you at this point. Marriage or your job/GC. Good luck.

Are you out of your mind ? You are taking a huge risk by staying in the US and droping your Canadian PR because of some "probable" green card. What makes you think that by the time you finish school the situation will still be better in US. I hope you will not regret this but think about your family. In 3 years you and your family could be happily in BC with free health care, great weather, less stress, travel wherever and whenever you want, have your own law firm.

Much less, but with my freedom to consult on the side and my wife's income we bring over $100k. We vacation in Florida for a month every year to visit friends. Life has never been better.

No, it is wrong, as you can see from the link, this is the correct address effetive July 30, 2007.
I do not think it is wrong. Download instructions for filing I 765 and see the filing address. If you are in NJ, you need to send to Texas service center.

hi,
where is the format and what words to use and to whom we have to address. i am not on IV website all thru the day, so, i am missing the great chunk of information by evening i log in. can anyone guide me thru the process, i am willing to hand written the letter. i have seen several threads on this admin fix / letters campaign; but to be honest, i could not find anything than asking members to write letters.

Its quite a gathering out here who have shown some interest or support for the Green card issue for the PhDs. I see numbers increasing slowly. I am networking and try to get more PhDs involved and become aware of the PACE Bill. Friends from many universities are contemplating the line of action to get a change in the language as well as to include the current PhD students/PhD holders in getting benefits from the bill.
I and my friends have drafted a letter and will be sending to our senator (Allen Specter) very soon. It will be great if many more enthusiasts come out and show their support / give their suggestions openly.
So lets keep it rolling.

I am on currently on EAD pending AOS. My priority date is current starting September.
My wife is on H1 and serving her 3 year J1-waiver requirements she has completed 1 year and has 2 more years to go We got married two years before I started my GC process.
My question is at what point should I file my wife's I485 given that I am current next month - She obviously has a J1-visa waiver approval but has still 2 more years to complete her waiver requirements. Assuming my AOS gets approved in next 2-3 months what would you suggest would be a good time to file my wife's I-485 and I am come under EB2 India category.

How long did it take you to make that Soul?!
Being pixel art.. I'm guessing 6-8 hours... Wow.. It's impressive..
As for beta.. Yours is also great.. I chose Soul's for the idea.. More depth..
Still better than I can do with pixels.. I don't have the time to dela with em.. And I would just get frustrated..
You should submit a cool park entry for KirupaVille on the main "random" section of the site Soul..

VB was distorted by the fact that LC process was expedited and back-log was cleared recently. Some of those with early PD just got LC approved and able to file last July 2007.
Therefore, getting back to old VB is not expected soon. I predict that it can take a year or so before it gets back to May 2007 VB.
