On the lighter side
Think about this , Your citizen kid can sponsor you when he/she attain 18.
So who ever planning to have one , start implementing , and parent of 10 month old just wait for 17 yr 2 months.
>> Your citizen kid can sponsor you when he/she attain 18
Incorrect. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age to sponsor green cards for parents.

Thank you very very much!
Sent $100 earlier and an extra $200 now.
Google: 172399199441976
If you have not contributed yet: This is money well spent. Changes has started to happen already, thanks to IV. Just renewing AP, EAD, H1B every year will cost a lot more than this.

Okay I liked code, contagious, and serif. Serif has my favorite palette of colors. Love the detail in the contagious one. Background is a little bland though. I voted for code though. Has the same colors I like.
All I got to say is Timmy Tots would have won. I can picture it now. Pixel font in the middle of a canvas. Can't compete with that. Maybe even a neon font on a black background. I should have competed in this.

My priority date is EB3 (August 2005). Last week her status changed to following. The thing is I checked with my lawyer & my employer and both said that they never received any RFE or never responded anything for my wife to USCIS.
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.
On July 24, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our TEXAS SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
This is not similar to the Op's case. Your case was transferred to the texas processing center because that center processes all cases from the north east or the eastern state, the op's case was transferred to a local uscis office,

"Representative Elton Gallegly (R-CA) introduced H.R. 133, Citizenship Reform Act of 2007, which would limit citizenship by birth to children born to at least one permanent resident or citizen parent."
Does this mean that if we do not have green cards our childern born here are not citizens. Am I understanding it right..

primary care physician....so that insurance covers it.
It makes me so mad regular insurance doesn't cover the immigration physical. It's almost like any other physical, in fact it's not even as detailed as that-the uscis site mentions "disrobing" I had to do no such thing.

Thank you Krishna. The question really is whether my Labor/I-140 approvals as Indian citizen can be used to continue the GC (to file the I-485) after I change my citizenship. Would you know about that?
Or, if a new GC process is restarted with a new employer, can the old priority date be re-used in the new GC process after citizenship has changed?
Thanks.
1. Ans 1 - Yes, Labor/I-140 approvals as Indian citizen can be used to continue the GC. Like i said USCIS considers Country Of Birth of Foreign Nationals and not their Citizenship
2. Ans 2- Old PD can be used with new employer as long as 140 is approved and not revoked.
refer to below links
1.
Copy paste this link " .com/greencard/employmentbasedimmigration/i-140-premium-processing.html "
And " murthy.com/chatlogs/ch121905_P.html "
Chat User : How do I know whether my previous employer revoked my LC or not? I want to use my previous employer’s priority date if that is not revoked.
Attorney Murthy : A person is not allowed to use the earlier employer's LC priority date filing with a new LC case filed with a new employer unless the earlier I-140 had been approved with that earlier employer. If the I-140 petition had not been approved, then each time a person changes employers, a person will start with a new PD. The only exception was for 245(i) cases where the petition or application had to be approvable when filed, but that only applies to the ability to file the I-485 and not to carry over that PD for a new case.
Thanks.[/QUOTE]

I like ur idea, can you design this or get someone to do this. It still has to have the same basic principle. we all have ideas we need someone to actually do this since we are mostly IT folks with programming skills can we get a volunteer or a group of volunteer who can do this?
I do not know whether this is going to help IV raise more funds or not, which should be the bottom line for every effort spent at this crucial juncture.
My thoughts on this scheme - Instead of going to outside web sites, we can design a scheme locally ourselves.
Currently we have member information like EB2/EB3, what stage of GC processing etc ... We can add another read-only field to this information like range of contribution by the member. For example,
Platinum member > $1000
Gold member $501 - $1000
Silver member $251 - $500
Member $1 - $250
Non-contributing member $0
When IV can come up with member, senior member etc ... depending on number of posts by the member, even this categorization can be easily implemented in the database. The exact dollar amount need not be disclosed.
