Finally got the magic email, straight to card production ordered. After 12+ years in this country and 3 labor filings
NSC, EB2
Priority Date - 2/3/2006
Receipt Date - 7/2/2007
Notice Date - 8/10/2007
RFE - April 2009 replied promptly in a few days, status was stuck at RFE response received since then.
Opened SR on 8/4/2010
Filed DHS-7001 last week 8/11/2010
hadn't heard anything back from either of the two methods above.

Rest PD,ND, TSC ,EB2 ...all are same.
Opened SR 9/5...wait for 6 months letter recieved
Called IO....nothing new
Last week Sent letter 7001 form.
Lost all the hopes......

BPositive, Sorry to hear that, I am about to apply for AP. My PD is nov 2004, EB2 -I . I am next in line to loose the money. Did you apply online?

In my 10 year stay in the US, I have traveled through UK only once and I had promised to myself I will never fly through UK again. Apart from the Transit visa hassel, they do not allow you to carry a laptop in addition to your carry-on. Even if the airline allows you to carry laptop in addition to a carry-on, the obnoxious UK airport authority will force you to pack your laptop inside your carry-on.

I am not an expert but I have a hunch that EB2 India will progress to Jun 1 2006.
Based on your calculations , Experts, please let us know what to expect, if 12000 GC are released for EB2. Where will the cutoff come and stop..

hi Guys
Some one please tell me how to open an SR.. the number on the reciept is 800-375-5283
MY priority date is Feb 2005 (EB2 India) and Notice date is Sep, 04, 2007
The other day I took infopass but it was useless.. Any help in how to open an SR is highly appreciated guys

Your Case Status: Decision
On August 17, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.
Case Status changed to Decision..with the above message today.
After 2 failed marriages (i mean with 2 different companies)...some risk-taking ..coz, i left my second employer after crossing 200 days since filing I-485 , Used EAD and took up full-time employment with an awesome organization , and then later 2nd employer revoking I-140 that lead to an RFE ...and USCIS keeping the status Response received since Jan 2009 ...and now this ...after opening an SR on 08/10..Looks like it took an exact week since the SR was created.
Of course, my roller-coaster was a small one compared to the rest of the friends in this forum.. Good luck to all and thanks to one and everyone.

I send my Employment based I-485/I-765/I-131 application on June 29th 2007 and received at NSC on July 2nd 2007 (USPS Express mail tracking no. XXXX). It�s more than 100 days and I didn�t even received the Receipt Number for all the applications.
I have following question for CIS Ombudsman�s office:
1) Per US Law, I have to get the EAD in 90 days of filling of my application? How I can get the EAD in 90 days where I didn�t even get the Receipt Number after 100 days?
2) Why �First In First Out (FIFO)� process is not followed by USCIS for receipting? It�s unfair to applicant like me when application filed on August 17th 2007 enjoying the EAD card and able to work.
3) What action you can will take to force USCIS follow their own operational manual guidelines and follow FIFO in future?

There are some things money CAN buy, For everything else, there's GREEN CARD
(i don't know what everything else is though...LOL)
To add a few more conditions to the aforesaid situation...
This is 2008.. Both JE and MBA are thinking that they will get their GC in 2009...
Meanwhile they start arguing.. and many like them join their verbal-struggle..
Because of this, IV community is divided.. Earlier only 200 people used to respond to action items .. now because of the rift only 100 do... this weakens the momentum that the campaign had..
Meanwhile, NumbersUSA et all increased their efforts..
Anti-immigration forces are united and under their pressure all the EB relief bills fail...
Election is close USCIS shifts the focus to FB visas..
EB backlog, retrogression goes up..
JE and MBA still fighting their verbal fight... in same line.. still fighting with words... with few more years added to their wait-time.

ITINs purpose is to ONLY put it when filing taxes. And all forms clearly ask for SSN# SO I dont think your lawyer is advising correctly.

You can sue this firm, if they have really suspended the work on I-485.

First of all thanks a lot for your reply and i further have some question if you could please help me understand that. the situations is that I have given my New I140 (EB2) to my lawyer and all he did was took a copy of my I485 receipt notice and said he will send that to USCIS. My PD on EB3 is Feb. 2003, how would I come to know if my EB3 PD was ported to EB2 by that I mean to how I would come to know if my I485 was ported to EB2 and still have PD of Feb 2003...

Right, but that A# I found on my H1b approval (approved Oct 10 '07) is different from the A # in my 458 receipts.
Just trying to figure out if folks who had an A# in the H1b approval notice are also facing the PIMS delay. (just a wild guess).
