If I were a person of Latino origin, I will be very angry with folks who assume that all Latinos are illegals.
Thankfully for the Latinos, you are not one of them!!!!!!
The difference between us and the latinos is that they stand by their community, irrespective of illegal or legal. Every latino that is coming on TV, organizing the marches, giving interviews to the newspapers are legal latinos defending the illegals.
On the other hand, we fight between EB2 and EB3!!!!!!!!!!

There may be a slight decrease in number because of retrogression, but i believe the bros&sis in the citizenship queue will compensate for that.
Naturalization queue is much bigger than AOS queue now and it has political clout. I guess probably thats the reason why they are expediting the namecheck now. USCIS dont want to be dragged into voter suppression mess.:)

This situation is really bad. There are so many people who missed the deadline as their labor was stuck in BEC. USCIS should at least allow a one-time chance (like July 2nd) for such people to file 485. I was lucky to clear the labor stage earlier this year.

The bill goes no where after the hearings unless there are enough co-sponsors and CHC members are ok with the bills. Then the house speaker will decide to let the bills be debated and voted on the house floor. If it goes through House then Senate will vote on it and then the Prez signs it off.
So the most important thing is to participate in the phone campaign esp the one targeting CHC members.

Is it a good idea to carry all my degree/masters certificates plus experience certificates along with that.
The only thing that came to my mind is regarding verification of degree certificates or experience letters mentioned on your Biographic Information form. Go to Local office and check.

Since the CP guys are in minority here , if IV has to invest for them (read we all have to pay for them ) let us see how much they can contribute for their own provision. Let us see if each one of them contribute more than 500 dollars to IV and posts the paypal number.
Why should majority allow a provison for some minority who do not even want to first contribute.

Desi consultants should be heavily fined or shut down if they get caught in filing multiple petitions. Why doesn't USCIS take reasonable steps to avoid these kinds of fraud. i hate it when desi consultants hire people from business background and file a H1B for them as a DBA's or programmer analysts or QA's....!!!

Yes I believe my attorney did provide the educational evaluation documents. It was the same documentation used for the H1B & the PERM Certification. Any idea of what my chances are with the appeal?
i hate to say this, in my opinion, urs is a little tough case. This is just my thought. Other gurus here may have a better advice for u. But this is uscis, you are dealing with. So you never know. Provide a better educational evaluation and keep your fingers crossed. All the best.

Define "unprofessional" and how it applies to the replies here?
In what part of the world is standing up against drug peddlers and traffickers is limited to "personal" interpretations of moral? Drug laws are not intended to satisfy some lawmakers personal morals, but it is there because selling drugs is illegal regardless of what yours, mine or anyone else's personal moral fabric is.
We are not talking here about the idea of sex before marriage, , drinking, or other values that are left to the individual's personal moral beliefs. We are not talking about that here. We are discussion DRUGS in case you were not paying attention.

This is true and the only one working actively working for our cause. If this organization is not succeeding to its full potential, its only because high skilled immigrants did not support it to the extent they could. Everyone wants to know what IV acheived - with $175???

I think most of the money comes from businesses that employ these people to cut costs. We don't have any such resource. So I don't think IV not getting enough donations can be blamed on IV users.
I have donated as much as I can without getting my budget in jeopardy with all the mortgage , taxes, "health insurance " .medicare, car payments etc etc that we have to deal with.
Another point I think is that even if IV had a couple of million dollars I don't think it will be able to pursuade the Congress to pass any legislation to bring relief to legal immigrants considering the mood of the people in the Congress . No one would like to hurt their political career with voting for us in the Congress. The politicians do only lip service whether for illegal or legal immigrant bills. They have zero interest in seeing them passed in the Congress.

You need to submit a new education evaluation.
I had also received an RFE.
An acceptable evaluation must:
1) consider formal eduction only
2) state if collegiate eduction is post-secondary education (i.e did appicant complete the US equivalant high school before entering college)
3) provide detailed explanation of material provided
For EB2 degree.. even if your labor states only Masters degree is required you need to prove that minimum education required for master's degree is Bachelors degree and a minimum requirement for Bachelors degree is your 10 + 2 high school education. Please contact thedegreepeople.com (sheila), they helped me in getting my I-140 approved.
