As far as I know, Fiancee visa is only for Fiancee of Citizens, not for GC folks.

I have better suggestion. Find work in Detroit, MI . Bring your first wife on H4. Apply for Candian green card. Bring your second wife just across the border in Canada.
In three years you second wife will get candian citizenship. She can then come to the USA on her own accord.
I think all 3 of them (Husband & 2 wives) should apply for their own H1B's and make it here and then apply for separate GC's.

You are right. I was on the call, and they only blathered about some Job ADS that specify "H1 Only" or something. THey have an rss feed going on the left side of the brightfuturejobs site, and they want the Antis to post en masse about how these jobs violate their rights.
The push is to get the Durbin bill passed. And they want to use these posts as "historical evidence" or some crap like that.

This is so depressing ...
Are they still talking about increasing H1Bs? That will create a bigger mess and those new H1Bs will have to wait 20 years before they can apply I485. Hopefully those who wish to come here as H1B will know the reality and won't be "trapped" as some of us have.

I think at this point, you need to show that the original 2000 graduation date was final and true. I would try to get a letter from your school stating that you did graduate with B.S. degree in 2000 and 2000 was the graduation year. Try to get an official letter stating that. The letter could, if possible, explain why later dates appear on you degree transcript. However, it must underline that you graduated in year 2000.

Your wife's file, also originally submitted to Lincoln with yours, was sent to California per the transfer notice, but was NOT returned to Lincoln, remaining in California. All this shifting may be a part of the cause of the delay.
After nearly 22 years in this field, and thinking I had pretty much seen it all, this is a new one."

One important issue is over looked here. Small employers will have a tough time in proving I-140 "ability to pay" for employees with older PD�s, whose labor got cleared after Aug 17 from BEC. Cuz the company has to prove its "ability to pay" the proffered wage starting from the date PD is established continuing until the adjudication of I-140.
Suppose the PD for an employee is Oct 2001 and the proffered wage is 80K per annum, then the company should prove that its assets, net income or salary payments were >=80K starting from Oct2001 continuing until the adjudication of I-140.
This is indeed an acid test for small employers.

This is the simplest Action Item ever, no travel, no holding placards, no visits to lawmakers, no real world activity. All that's needed is pen, paper, envelope and a stamp.I can't imagine anyone here who cannot afford any of these items.
Most members here will benefit here by 3 year EAD/APs, job flexibility and promotions. Members who missed the July VB boat, and new applicants, will get to apply 485 and get into the line. There was a hue and cry sometime back about restarting I-40 PP. Even that group stands to benefit as their demands are included too.
Hence the current low-level of participation is surprising. If we cannot collectively write even a letter for our cause, we might as well pack up or stop waiting/discussing VBs. They will be bleak for at least 4-5 years more. Come on folks, we can do better than this. We will write those letters and we'll succeed.
Write those letters and update the tracker. Your kids will thank you for it when they growup (all the money saved from 10 years EAD/AP can be turned into savings for them)

guys this wont work for the people who file through lawyers. lawyers will do at their own pace. good luck if you think it is going to work
