In Flash you mean?
Usually breaking things apart relates to groups of object and sometimes even to movie clips themselves, but you certainly can break apart an imported graphic, I actually do it all the time.
a good example would be if you were going to use a picture as a fill. I did this in the following example

I needed the stone texture I was using to rotate with the dial. I found that it looked best using the picture as a fill for the dial. I had tried to create a circular png outside of flash for some time.. that way I could do transparency on the pic and just rotate it in flash.. but it never looked right, and the file size was huge. By breaking apart a jpg, I could use just what I wanted from it, leaving the holes in the pic up to flash to produce.

But I have a lot to be thankful for. Thanks to IV, he has his EAD and can have one less thing to worry about in his new job search.

As long as you are getting paid for the posistion your H1B co has hired you for, and are getting paystubs to prove that, you are fine.
You had a client and you were getting paid by your H1b employer, now you are getting paid cos you are working for your H1b employer directly. that is how I read it.
Your H1B petitioning company has to give a letter stating your continous employment with them, and that should be good.
PS: Techincally and legally speaking, you are borderline OK, however, with all the facts you have stated, it is illegal for you to be in the US on an H1B.

Hello,
I filed my 485/EAD/AP last year and recently changed my address. Besides filing an AR11, what are the other steps I need to do? Should I be calling USCIS to make sure the new address gets reflected on my 485 application?

Yes or you can do it online too. It takes a while for the change to reflect, but you will know when it happens as you will receive an update through email and usually also a confirmation letter from CIS.

Looks like the EB2 dates for india have retrogressed by two years. I am applying for green card and would like to know if I shouls go with EB2 or EB3.

USCIS has decided to keep EB2/3-IN,China,Mexico,Philipines applicants in virtual jail for an average 7 to 10 years. So in reality it does not matter what you choose. Whatever you select you will be at mercy of USCIS. Only one thing you should do, in my opinion, not to become monkey if your real goal is to achieve GC in short span of 4 to 5 years. As you hop trees add more number of years per hop. By the way this is the first month you see EB2 retrogressed.
EB3 was in hell for last 4 years. So I am seeing at least 2 years for EB3 moving fast. Your category will be in real effect after at least 4 years of your filing and you can not predict what will happen after 4 years. Only one action is in your control and that is not to hop seeing short term gain."Exploitation from employer" OR "Temporarily seeing particular catgory moving fast or slow" are not good reasons for hoping in the path what USCIS has defined. It seems the FP notice comes in 10 to 15 day usually. I haven't gotten mine after 3 weeks. Is there a time period after which that I have to worry about the FP?

It has not passed April 04 since Sept 05 (when it was current) and during July Fiasco.
I was just a couple of months away when PD reached APR 04, it remained there for sometime, got retrogressed and now it is again back to square one at the same date. Wonder what the bottleneck on APR 04 is�.

I have used my labor for H1 extensions twice since running out of 6 year term, and have I140 pending with another extension coming up soon. I will not be able to use PP to get a 3 year tranche.

seems like it. A lot of people seem to be doing it which is why EB2 is not moving fast enough
there were 400k application pending for AOS as of last year. 50% Eb3 would make them 200k..
can anyone know how much of 200k ported to Eb2 ? if no is above 50k then its an issue. under less than 50k will justify by slow economy and new labor rule ( no more Eb2 for Software Engineer ).

Thanks for the response. I am very glad to know that H1 can be transferred to new company with existing perm application. If the transfer takes place, we will be aiming to apply for a new Perm from the new company asap or before 30-Sep-2010.
Can you please confirm applying for new Perm with new company before Sep 2010 will be enough to request extension beyond Sep 2011?

You could either file AC21 or file after you revceive RFE, but when there is RFE they may also request paystubs, not just offer letter.
